Since meeting Andy and attending the practice groups I have made changes in every area of my life.
The ideas Andy teaches are delivered in such a simple way and are so easy to understand that I was able to apply these to my life immediately.

After just a few months of learning NLP, I have made many small changes to my everyday life which have led to some really excellent results.
I have found myself to be more motivated at work, able to plan my time better and fit more into my days and found myself developing better relationships at work and in my personal life. I have also learned some really good techniques that allow me to be more confident, motivated and energised whenever I need to be.

These are just a few of the improvements I have noticed since being taught by Andy and I am learning new and interesting things about myself and other people all the time.

The practice groups are a fun and friendly way of learning this, and I always come away feeling energised and armed with some new stuff to try out and have fun with.

I first heard about NLP several years ago when a friend of mine went on an NLP Practitioner training and when he came back he was so enthusiastic about the changes he was able to make in his own life and even helped me reduce a fear of rejection I'd had for years. I thought I have to find out about this stuff. So I started reading as many books as I could about NLP and spent a lot of money on cd's and books that claimed to teach me How To Do NLP for myself and others.

but after several years of reading and understanding on an intellectual level I found I still couldn't do the stuff my friend was doing. He can literally walk into any room and immediately start to talk with total strangers, he's full of confidence and able to feel at ease in any situation he finds himself in, he's one of those people that seems able to be uber confident without the 'big I am' attitude I was so nervous of. He's even used NLP to get a pay rise because he's better at his job.

Last year I finally decided to stop reading and start doing and booked myself on one of Andy's Practical NLP courses, at last it all started to fall into place, what actually goes on when you change for the better rather than read about it, utterly amazing, I felt a little silly at putting it off for so long.  I wish I'd done it sooner but I'm glad that I did as Andy put it "Just go for it"  and got the experience. Now I know that it was the right time to get that practical experience and am so glad that Andy was able to guide the whole group to the kind of 'in the muscle' understandings that really getting to grips with NLP has given me.

In short, after a lot of reading,  it wasn't until I actually engaged with the experience of learning NLP with a group of people in real time with feedback and physical practice that the ideas and concepts started to become solid, useable knowledge.

Now I find it easy to engage with people and bring confidence to the situations I used to find quite frankly, harrowing. Of course it's not all about confidence but being able to take control of your life instead of running on autopilot, In one of the books I read Richard Bandler (a co creator of NLP) says NLP is about learning to drive the bus instead of trying to work out 'who' is driving the bus. I thought that was a really cool phrase, I now have the keys!

Since getting my driving license (:-)) friends of mine have commented on how at ease I am with myself, I've been promoted (I was passed over 2 years running), I have closer friendships and even get on with my family, Christmas doesn't seem like a combat zone anymore and I'm able to help people at work more effectively and easily.  More and more I am becoming the person that people trust at work to get things done and my friends have asked to help with phobias, fears and other limiting behavior, it's like a whole new world has opened up before my eyes.

If I could tell you one thing about NLP it is this, It's about Doing, reading gets you an understanding of the language, doing NLP wires in learning in a way you just can't read about
