Linguistic refers to Language…
Because, in large part, we process, make meaning, understand and descried our experience with words. Not only do our perceptions shape the language we use… Language (internally and externally) shapes our perceptions, responses and behaviour. Therefore language is more than just a means of communication, it is an “organ of perception”.
Programming refers to internal processing…
Because thinking can be thought of as a network of internal programs. Basically, what people are able to do is directly related to these internal programs. Therefore, the ability to do anything is based, in large part, upon the ability to influence thinking patterns to program and reprogram the mental processes from which responses and behaviours are created… what Goethe referred to as “the genius, the power and magic in ourselves”.
History:
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) began and was developed in the early 1970s by Richard Bandler and John Grinder, when they set out to model the work of geniuses in the field of human communication and change. The term NLP is used to describe both the approach to modeling that they used, and the powerful models of communication and change they created and have continued to develop.

Since then NLP modeling has been applied to everything from Sales and Marketing to Education. Richard and John are still training all over the world and I highly reccomend them.
Christina Hall is one of the co developers of the field and president of the Society of NLP. Her blend of the two founders styles and depth of experience is just brilliant to observe and learn from.

These are some unusual words , but what does this really mean for you ?
When the elements above are blended in just the right way it can mean the end of rubbish relationships or living a healthier life style or a better working life or finding the work life balance, maybe it will mean the end of phobias, fears and hesitations - Gone. You choose.
Brains don't come with an owners manual but if they did, this would be it.
